Portfolio Investment management is the professional management of various securities and assets in order to meet specified investment goals for the benefit of the investors.
KMI has over twenty years experience in advising on personal portfolios giving access to investments not generally available, such as structured notes and corporate bonds.
We also provide access to non equity investments producing double digit returns with capital guarantees in place and automated systems that allow 24/7 monitoring of clients individual fund holdings.
Every client portfolio is looked after on an individual basis, not lumped together as so often is the case. Portfolio Management pays for itself, with a minimum expected uplift in portfolio return of approximately 3%.
At KMI we manage portfolio investments in:
- Bonds - Debt security, in which the authorised issuer owes the holders a debt and, depending on the terms of the bond, is obliged to pay interest (the coupon) to use and/or to repay the principal at a later date, termed maturity. A bond is a formal contract to repay borrowed money with interest at fixed intervals (semi annual, annual and sometimes monthly).
- Shares - A single unit of ownership in a corporation or other organisation. A joint stock company divides its capital into shares, which are offered for sale to raise capital, termed as issuing shares. Thus, a share is an indivisible unit of capital, expressing the proprietary relationship between the company and the shareholder.
- Other securities - Generally negotiable financial instruments representing financial value. Securities are broadly categorised into: debt securities (such as banknotes, bonds and debentures), equity securities, e.g. common stocks, and, contracts, such as forwards, futures, options and swaps.
- Real Estate - is "Property consisting of land and the buildings on it, along with its natural resources such as crops, minerals, or water; immovable property of this nature; an interest vested in this; (also) an item of real property; (more generally) buildings or housing in general.
